Finding a scholarship is the easy part. Finishing the application is where most students stop. Next Scholar helps with that work: what each award needs, what is due next, and whether your own essay answers the prompt. We never write your essay or make up achievements.

Tell us your state, grade, GPA, field, and background. We check your answers against the rules of 4,990 public listings from official sources and show why each one may fit. A match is not a promise. The sponsor decides who wins. Read how the finder works.
Each award shows what the sponsor asks for: a form, letters, a transcript, an essay. Checklist next lists what to do, and the deadlines page lists dates already on file. Document Vault keeps a file you already have, like a transcript, so a later application can reuse it. 397 listings let you build the application inside Next Scholar. See the tracker.
603 listings use an official paper form. For 175 with a fillable official PDF, we fill in your saved name, school, and contact details. You check every field, sign it, and send it yourself. We do not sign, mail, or submit anything for you.
The essay check puts the official prompt and word limit next to your draft, when we copied them from the official page (44 awards so far). It tells you if you are over the limit or off the prompt. Students 13 and older can also ask for AI feedback from an AI model (OpenAI): questions and notes about their own draft. It never writes or rewrites the essay, and it is off for awards that ban AI. Read the essay help rules.
One list of what is due next, with the date on file and the day we last checked it. You can add a date to your calendar for free. Reminder emails are a Scholar tool, and we only remind you about dates already on the listing.
Some scholarships ban AI help and may disqualify you. Read the rules on each official page before you use any AI tool. When we have an award’s AI rule on file, we show it on the award and in the essay check. If we have no rule on file, we say Unknown, never Allowed.
15 awards in our list have an AI rule on file that bans or limits AI help. Each one is flagged on its page and in the essay check. See the list and how to use AI safely.
Students who want one place for applications, parents helping a student, and school counselors who want to see progress when a student chooses to share it.
Matching and the award list are free, and so are the essay check and one application inside Next Scholar. Scholar is $9.99/mo or $99.99/yr. Achiever is $19.99/mo or $199.99/yr. Scholar starts with a 14-day free trial. We collect a card up front. You are not charged during the 14 days. It is a flat price, never a cut of an award. See pricing
A tool that helps with the work after you find a scholarship: what to send, what is due, and whether your own essay answers the prompt. Next Scholar does that work with you. It never writes the essay for you.
No. We never write your essay or make up achievements. We help you organize your ideas and check your own words against the prompt and the word limit. Suggested edits are small, shown next to your words, and used only if you pick them.
Check each scholarship’s AI rules. When the official page bans AI and we have that rule on file, the award shows “Essay AI: Not allowed” and AI feedback and edit suggestions are switched off. The plain review checklist still works. If no rule is on file, we say Unknown, never Allowed.
No. You send each application the way the sponsor asks. For some paper forms we fill in the official PDF with your saved details so you can check, sign, and mail it yourself.
Matching, the award list, the essay check, and one application inside Next Scholar are free. Scholar is $9.99/mo or $99.99/yr and adds the essay library, unlimited applications, and deadline email alerts.
Only if you choose to share, with a code from your counselor. You see what is shared before you say yes, and you can stop any time. Essay text is shared only if you tick a separate box. Sharing is for students 13 and older.
