Next Scholar FAQ

Short answers about what Next Scholar does, what it costs, and what it does not do.

What is Next Scholar?

Next Scholar (nextscholar.com) helps students and families find scholarships, grants, and tuition waivers from official sources. You can see deadlines and keep essays, documents, and applications in one place.

How much does Next Scholar cost?

There is a free plan. Scholar is $9.99/mo or $99.99/yr. Achiever is $19.99/mo or $199.99/yr. It is a flat price, not a cut of any award and not a coaching package. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. Cancel before day 15 and you are not charged.

Are the scholarships real?

Every listing links to its official source. We do not make up awards. A Verified badge means we checked the official page and saved the date we checked it. It does not mean you are eligible.

Does Next Scholar write my essays?

No. The essay coach reviews your draft and suggests edits. You choose which edits to use. We never replace your words on our own.

Does Next Scholar promise I will win?

No. We show why an award may fit, from the listing and what you told us. The sponsor decides who wins.

Does Next Scholar send my application for me?

No. You can build a packet here. You still send it to the sponsor the way the sponsor asks. Saving it here does not submit it.

Is Next Scholar a lender?

No. We do not offer loans and we do not rank schools.

Can a school counselor see my work?

Only if you choose to share. You enter a counselor code, read what will be shared, and say yes. You can stop at any time. Sharing is for students 13 and older.
