A Verified mark means Next Scholar checked an official sponsor source and kept the date of that check. It is a catalog fact. It is not a decision about you.
Verified means we checked the official page. That check is not verified eligibility. It is not a chance you will win.
On a listing, Verified by NextScholar appears only when the stored source check is green. Other listings stay Confirm on official site, Review official rules, or Not yet checked. The lines under the mark name the official source, the last verified date when we have one, and Report incorrect.
Official source is the sponsor page on file. When that URL is missing, the listing says so. We do not treat aggregator sites as the official source.
Last verified is the check date already stored on the listing. If no date is on file, the listing says last verified is not recorded. We do not invent a date.
Some awards also have the sponsor’s official application PDF stored in the catalog. That file keeps the listing tied to the sponsor. It is not a filed application, and it is not proof you qualify.
Report incorrect emails the operator with the listing details. It does not silently rewrite the catalog. There is no separate ticketing system.
Paid tiers stay off. This page does not sell a plan.
